Hey there, fellow rainy day warriors! So, the forecast is gloomy, you’ve already played outside in the puddles and now you’re stuck indoors with a bunch of restless little ones. Don’t panic! I’ve got you covered with a list of super fun activities to turn those rainy days into memorable adventures. Get ready for some laughs, creativity, and maybe even a little bit of learning along the way! I love to have these kits on hand- but don’t fret, many of these items are deliverable as soon as tomorrow!

1. Making Suncatchers: Let the Rainbows In!

So, picture this: raindrops tap-dancing on the windows, and your kiddos are itching for some sunshine. What better way to invite those rays in than by making suncatchers? It’s easy-peasy! Grab some clear plastic sheets, like these, permanent markers, and let those mini Picassos go wild. Once their masterpieces are dry, hang ’em up by the window by using a hole punch and some string, and watch the magic happen as the sunlight dances through their colorful creations!

Supplies Needed:

Acetate Sheets– to color on and it’s the base of our suncatchers. They are clear and super easy to work with!

Permanent Markers for coloring on the acetate. Once dry, it won’t rub off easily.

Hole Punch– so you can hang them!

There is also this great kit– if you don’t want to go the DIY version!

2. Painted Rock Kit: Rock On!
